Week 3 Update: More thanks in order, we’ve hit our initial target!

G’day everyone,

hope you’re all keeping ok.

Exciting times at Plank HQ! As of yesterday, we hit our initial target for the pre-launch campaign on Pozible! This is really great and we appreciate everyone’s support so far to help us get Plank Audio up and going.

Thanks to Patrick for the pledge that got us across the line. (on top of the collective effort so far) What this means is that all the pledges made so far and from now on will be collected and held by Pozible until the scheduled end of the campaign. If you have any questions about this, get in touch via email (info@plankaudio.com.au)

It doesn’t mean the campaign is over yet though. There are still a range of items available for pre-order, which will be available till sold out or the end of the campaign. We have some time still to go, so we are currently planning out what our stretch goals will be. Stay tuned for more on this to come.

On the rewards front, the first release of rack boxes are getting closer to selling out. So far the first release of 12Us have sold out, and most others are at least 50% sold. We’ve had a great response to our launch film (you can view it at the top of the Pozible page if you haven’t already) We would like to do a shout out to Glenn Dixon of Glenn Dixon Visuals. Glenn created the vision for and crafted the film into reality. We’ve been fans of Glenns work for a long time and appreciate the beautiful nuance he brings to his films. We got in touch with Glenn in the early stages of coralling Plank into reality.

From the beginning Glenn was really engaged with the concept. Over conversations, he drew out what it was we wanted to convey through the film. It was impressive to experience his process of allowing us space while keeping it all tracking along. The whole process, from concept through to the shoot and completion was seamless. We can’t recommend Glenn highly enough if you’re after film services to capture your story. Thanks also to Marcus from Flammington Studios, for his work one the piece.
